What antispyware program can i use?

i need to download an antispyware progam that actually remove the infected items for free.

i downloaded Spysweeper and spyware doctor. both progams detected the infected items... but they don't remove them unless i pay a subscription...

is there any free program that i can get to remove the infected items??

I have tried virtually all of the free spyware removal programs offered and found that only two of them live up to their hype:

Spyware Blaster prevents spyware from being loaded on to your computer (through a list of known spyware and malware sites, which are added to your ''Restricted sites'' security section in your browser, after you have installed the program and activated all of the protection in its database) and it works silently in the background.

Both of these programs are freeware of course.

I am not a big fan of Ad-Aware, regardless of all of the wonderful testimonials from others as to *how well* it works. While it does find and clean adware per se, what it usually detects are minor threats (like MRUs - whoopee). I believe that the free version of Ad-Aware is extremely overrated, but you should still try it yourself and arrive at your own conclusions.

Help me delete spware?

let me make this clear i am not good with computers and i need spware off my computer, i cannot buy spware removers so i am using free ones like super anti spyware...no matter what i do i cannot delete the infected files...what do i do? now i am dealing with key loggers hijackers adware trojans and more i am looking for a simple prosses with great detail on how to remove these and if not manually then suggest a free progam that will effectivly remove it for me

For SPYWARE removal I suggest 2 free programs:

AD-AWARE and SPYBOT SEARCH AND DESTROY.

I suggest downloading, installing, and running BOTH of them. There are times when one of the programs finds something the other doesn't. When spyware is found, allow the program to quarantine or delete the spyware from your system. That should take care of your problem.

Windows Defender is only a antispyware scanner so yes you'll need a antivirus software.

To be honest, I don't recommend AVG but rather one of these two:

Avast! scored Advance on http://www.av-comparatives.org while AVG Anti-Malware (Antivirus and Antispyware combined)scored Advance+ (not Advance) but please remember that it tested the Anti-Malware not the Antivirus so it's uncertain what the antivirus alone recieved.

AVG is simple and easy to use but I recommend avast! out of the two for it's multilayer shields and protection. Avast! does require a license key that expires after 14 months (if you're using the free version of avast! you can re-register for another key for free).

If you're an advance user, you should also look into AntiVir Personal Edition Classic. It's free and it has a very high detection rate but a bit more false positives from the other two above but never the less it's detection is more powerful.

co-worker of mine. he is using windows XP, he is using the system admin account to login. he can move his mouse every where on the screen, and click on things, he can click on a file and see the box of properities of that file, but after he left double click on file or icons, nothing opens. I tried to use Crl+alt+del, the task screen won't come out. It will work only we restart his computer again. But it happens again after you left the computer on alone for a while. He has lot of free space. More than 80 % free. and I scaned for spyware using ad aware personal. and no spy ware found. what happened?? any suggestions?

There must had been a virus that might have messed up how the program load or an important file in the OS went missing. I would say try doing a System Restore to see if that works if all goes wrong tell them to Reinstall windows(formats comp will lose everything) or do a Windows Repair(this one keeps files only fixes windows) I hope this help ya
Idk.....But if the space on your hard drive is 80% clear and fresh....then it wouldn't hurt if he or you reinstall windows xp again and see if that helps.

Anyone know any good free program that could kill spyware and pop ups. I got search and destroy but it dosent reall help with the porn pop ups i have. My boyfriend downloaded porn from limewire on my laptop and now i got pop ups every where. Please help!

hm..........not so sure about the processor. you can get core 2 duos from amd and intel for that price. you good sufficient ram and a reasonably big hard-drive. but you also got a dedicated graphics, which although not powerful or top-end, will probably increase your multimedia experience but not with graphic demanding games. t be honest there are ones going around with a better processor but everything else looks great! also get vista its better!

I have had nothing but problems with Dell, they have terriable tech support and are way overrated. Id go with a HP or Toshibia if it were me.

No I woud'nt buy it firstly it is XP and seondly the price is too high for a XP laptop even though it has some good spec. I would advise you to get Vista because now the SP1 Vista has been released there are no problems because I have Vista SP1 and it is great.
